Description
Type N connectors are threaded, weatherproof, medium-sized RF connectors that are used to join coaxial cables. They were invented in the 1940s by Paul Neill of Bell Labs and were one of the first connectors capable of carrying microwave-frequency signals. They are popular for use with outdoor equipment because they are more water resistant than other standard connector types.
